Libby & Rob @ Ox Pastures Hotel Scarborough 11.12.15
When Libby & Rob first discussed their wedding plans with me I was hooked… a wedding in Scarborough in December, a new venue and a new location!
We arrived at Ox Pastures Hall which is set in seventeen acres of picturesque North Yorkshire countryside. This charming venue is only a few miles from the coast, so a chill cut through the air but the weather was dry and the sun was shining providing a wonderful setting for a winter wedding day.
Both Libby and Rob had opted to have bride and groom preparation at Ox Pastures, the morning went quickly and before we knew it the ceremony was due to start in the Dovecote barn which had been decorated with a vintage and Christmas theme.
After a short and sweet ceremony it was time to capture group photos covering these quickly due to the chilly weather. Shortly afterwards the newlyweds and their cute and very photogenic dog Frank headed to Scarborough North Bay beach for bride and groom only celebratory photos.
Wow! I have to be honest the photo session on the North bay seafront was amazing. Libby, Rob and Frank were superb and as a creative photographer I am grateful they chose to brave the coastal elements allowing us the opportunity to make the most of the seafront and some of its famous landmarks. It certainly was a photo shoot to remember.
Back in the warmth of Dovecote Barn husband and wife were announced into the room, thoughtful speeches followed before we were very kindly invited to sit with their guests for a delicious wedding breakfast
After cutting of the cake, Libby & Rob took to the dance floor as husband and wife accompanied by music from a live 1940’s rock and roll band. A perfect end to what had been a perfect day! Thank you to Libby and Rob, all their amazing family and friends and the staff at Ox Pastures for a magical day!
Many congratulations to Mr & Mrs Wright. Enjoy your sneak preview……
