Rachael & Gavin’s wedding was a truly memorable! It had all the traditions of a village wedding in rural Gainsborough. Including the best entrance so far by the groom and groomsmen, who arrived at Church on vintage motor bikes! The church service was heartfelt and included the christening of Rachael and Gavin’s son, Oscar. This amazing couple opted to hold their wedding reception on Gavin’s family farm, with marquees decorated with rustic crafts and wild flower arrangements. Entertainment for guests was in abundance with clay pigeon shooting, archery, bouncy castles, traditional ice cream van and even the sit on grass cutter made an appearance later in the evening!
As the live band played, there was of course plenty of food, beverages and laughter! Even the sun came out for the day, after a week of very testing weather, which did not make things easy for everyone who helped setting up on site. However, everyone involved did a fantastic job…what a perfect and personalised location to enjoy this amazing celebration.
There was an abundance of fun and enjoyment throughout Rachael and Gavin’s wedding day. Outdoor space allowed for wonderful informal images and group photos. It was great to be able to photograph the entire speeches outdoors, making the most of the wonderful natural light. We also utilised the surrounding farmland for bride and groom only portraits and for some dynamic pictures of Gavin with his motorbike.
It had certainly been a magical wedding and certainly a memorable one! My assistant and I had a fantastic time and I’m delighted we had the opportunity to capture their wedding day!
Thank you to Matthew for his hard work and to Rachael and Gavin’s family and friends who made made us feel very welcome on the day. Of course a very big thank you must go out to Rachael & Gavin you were amazing!
Many congratulations! Enjoy your sneak preview…
