As a very exciting and action packed summer wedding season continued, the last Sunday in August saw us return to the beautiful village of Wentworth and its impressive church.
We had covered bridal preparations earlier at the Brooklands hotel, where a very relaxed bride Kristie was promptly ready for the Camper van and the VW Beetle, which was her transport for the day, to make the short journey to Wentworth. It was lovely to see genuine emotion from the groom Andrew who had his brother Chris for support as the beautiful bride Kristie made her entrance into the magnificent church. Following a heartfelt ceremony we used the church grounds for group photos with a wonderful confetti picture on the steps. The VW entourage left with the newlyweds and their bridal party for the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
This open air art gallery located near West Bretten offers the perfect location for wedding celebrations offering 500 acres of stunning historic parkland. Transport had been arranged by the bride and groom so we were driven out into the grounds for photos. This fun event enabled us to capture some beautiful images at various points in the parkland. Meanwhile guests relaxed in the sunshine with live music and drinks, soaking in the atmosphere.
Prior to the wedding breakfast Kristie and Andrew’s beautiful dog, Blue joined the celebrations and of course Blue was more than happy to pose for photos too! As darkness fell everyone enjoyed the speeches in the very tastefully decorated main room within the Sculpture park buildings. It looked fantastic with the couple’s music theme – a great personal touch before the cutting of the cake and first dance.
A very big thank you to the Sculpture Park for their assistance, to Matt for his hard work and of course a very special thank you to the wonderful couple Andrew & Kristie who were fabulous! It was a pleasure;
