We continued with our winter season for the wedding of Rebecca and Shaun. Bridal preparation was at home where we found a relaxed bride and her three bridesmaids getting ready for the big day ahead. Having taken bridal prep photos we moved on to St Peter`s Church Barnburgh. Shaun had arrived in plenty of time for photographs with his groomsmen.
The stunning bride and her party arrived in two Regents, 1930 vintage style Landaulets. Shaun and Rebecca exchanged vows in a lovely church ceremony and were pronounced husband and wife.
As the church bells, with their fine mellow tone pealed the new Mr. & Mrs. Lakin and their guests braved the bitterly cold temperatures for both group, and bride and groom photos. Working quickly we soon had them on their way to Tankersley Manor Hotel where further photos of this super couple were taken with their luxurious transport. The church and Tankersley Manor were both beautifully decorated for Christmas. Timing was excellent and we managed bride and groom photos and informal guest shots prior to the wedding breakfast.
On conclusion of the wedding breakfast genuine heartfelt speeches were made along with presentation of gifts. Early evening snow flurries arrived and we took the opportunity for photographs outside Tankersley Manor Hotel and further informal photos of guests relaxing the bar and lounge areas.
Evening guests arrived and the couple cut their cake and took to the dance floor for the first dance. Many thanks to Rebecca and Shaun for a superb day and thanks to staff at St Peter`s Church and Tankersley Manor – enjoy your sneak preview.
